SUMMARY:Post-Colonial Traces in Munich – Workshop & City Walk
DESCRIPTION:What do (post-)colonial structures have to do with our everyday
  life? Our present socio-economic behaviour\, our consumer choices and our
  perceptions of reality are – consciously or not – in many ways tied t
 o and influenced by the colonial era. Imaginations of economic wealth\, kn
 owledge production and material culture blend the colonial past into the p
 ost-colonial present. With interactive methods and followed by a city walk
 \, we want to expand our view of the global entanglements of colonialism a
 nd look at remaining (post-)colonial traces in Munich.\n\nIn cooperation w
 ith the Munich Student Union / Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern.\n\nTh
 e workshop will be held in English.\n\nDate: Saturday\, 30 November 2024\n
